Integrations

Moneat integrates with your team's communication tools so you're notified about errors, incidents, and uptime issues in real-time. Integrations are configured at the organization level under Settings.

Slack

Moneat can connect several Slack workspaces (including Enterprise Grid), each with its own least-privilege scopes, health, and default channel. See the Slack integration guide for capabilities, reauthorization, and per-workspace management.

Setting up Slack

  1. 1
    Add a workspace
Go to Settings → Connectors → Slack and click "Manage" to open the Slack workspaces manager, then click "Add workspace". Choose the capabilities Slack should grant and authorize the Moneat app. You can connect several workspaces, including Enterprise Grid organizations.
  2. 2
    Select a default channel
In the workspace manager, choose the Slack channel each workspace should post errors and incidents to. You can change it at any time.
  3. 3
    Send a test message
Click "Send test message" for a workspace to post to its default channel and verify delivery is working.

Slack features

  • Error notifications - New and reopened issues are posted to your channel
  • Incident alerts - On-call alerts are sent as DMs with an Acknowledge button and View Details link
  • Usergroup sync - Link on-call schedules to Slack usergroups so @mentions reach the current responder
Interactive controls

Slack notifications for on-call alerts include an interactive Acknowledge button and a View Details link. Open the detail page to resolve the alert or continue the response.

Discord

Connect Discord to receive error and incident notifications in your server channels. The setup process is similar to Slack: authorize the Moneat bot and select a channel.

Webhooks

For custom integrations, you can configure webhook endpoints. Moneat will send HTTP POST requests with event data to your webhook URL when errors or incidents occur. This lets you integrate with any service that accepts webhooks.

Managing integrations

All integrations can be managed from Settings → Connectors. From there you can:

  • View connected integrations and their status
  • Update notification channel preferences
  • Test integration connectivity
  • Disconnect integrations you no longer need
